Stevenson 2204Jen joins Sonoma State University from UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Education. During her fourteen years at Berkeley, she directed the Office of Pre-College Programs at the Haas School of Business and later launched a major initiative focused on STEM + Medicine college and career pathways for rural and urban first generation high school students.
Jen began her career in the museum field and led a number of museum education programs and departments in Chicago, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area. She has her BA from Augustana College in English and Spanish, a Certificate in Student Affairs and Higher Education Administration from UC Berkeley Extension, and a Master’s Degree in Education (Organization and Leadership) from the University of San Francisco.
Current Oakland residents, Jen and her husband, Eric Seyfarth and 14 year old son, Will Seyfarth, spend most of their free time heading to Sonoma and Mendocino Counties to camp, SUP, and cycle. They are looking forward to relocating to Sonoma County.
