Preliminary Credential Program Application Submission Periods
NOTE: Applicants are required to attend an Information Session prior to applying to any credential program. Additionally, the Multiple Subject and Single Subject credential programs have TWO required prerequisite courses. Please plan accordingly.
Fall Admission: October 1st – February 28th
Spring Admission: July 1st – September 30th

Overview of Application Process
Candidates submit one application if they currently attend SSU as a post-bac student and are completing an MA Program, Credential Program or are taking the pre-requisite courses. Please contact credentials.office@sonoma.edu for the application. All other candidates MUST submit a program application via CALSTATE Apply Applications are reviewed in the order received.
Candidates cannot move forward to the interview stage until they have submitted a complete application. Please carefully review the specific program application checklists to make sure ALL documents listed are submitted.
NOTE: Applications marked "complete" on CalState Apply does not indicate all program documents have been submitted. A status of an application is sent to applicants when the application is processed.
