The cost of attending a credential program at Sonoma State University can vary depending on state legislated university fees and credentialing requirements established by the state of California. TEACH Grant
The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides grants of up to $4,000 per year to students who meet the eligibility criteria and agree to teach for four years at an elementary school, secondary school, or educational service agency that serves students from low-income families. Open to Hutchins: Blended students, Early Childhood Education, Multiple Subject credential candidates, Single Subject: Math, Science, English & Spanish, and Special Education credential candidates. Golden State Teacher Grant (GSTG)
Awards up to $20,000 to students currently enrolled in a professional preparation program approved by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) and working towards earning their preliminary teaching or pupil personnel services credential.
